Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: April 30, 2026

Our Commitment

Rawad Hamasha is committed to ensuring that rawadgroup.com is accessible to all individuals, including people with disabilities. We believe that access to information and services should not be limited by disability, and we take active steps to ensure our website meets that standard.

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of this website in conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, California Civil Code §51.

Technical Measures Implemented

The following accessibility features have been implemented on this website:

  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements — including navigation, buttons, form fields, dropdown selectors, and the AI chat — are fully operable via keyboard without requiring a mouse.
  • Skip to main content: A skip-navigation link appears at the top of every page when accessed via keyboard, allowing users to bypass the navigation bar and proceed directly to the main content.
  • Screen reader support: All buttons, form inputs, dropdowns, and interactive controls include descriptive ARIA labels. Form fields are programmatically associated with their labels. Error messages are linked to their respective fields and announced automatically when they appear.
  • Live region announcements: The AI-powered chat window announces new responses in real time. The contact form announces submission success without requiring a page reload.
  • Focus indicators: A visible gold focus ring appears on all interactive elements when navigated via keyboard, meeting WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 2.4.7.
  • Color contrast: All text on this website meets or exceeds the WCAG 2.1 Level AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
  • Background video controls: All auto-playing background videos include a visible pause/play toggle, allowing users to stop motion at any time, in compliance with WCAG 2.2.2 (Pause, Stop, Hide).
  • Reduced motion support: This website respects the operating system's "reduce motion" preference. When that setting is enabled, animations and transitions are minimized across the site.
  • Semantic HTML and structure: Pages use proper HTML5 landmark elements (header, nav, main, section, footer), a single h1 per page, and a logical heading hierarchy to support assistive technology navigation.
  • Language declaration: The primary language of the page is declared in the HTML tag, enabling screen readers to apply the correct language processing rules.
  • Mobile and navigation dialogs: The mobile navigation menu is implemented as an ARIA dialog with aria-modal="true", a labeled close button, and full keyboard accessibility.
  • Descriptive image alternative text: All meaningful images include accurate alternative text descriptions. Purely decorative elements are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • HTTPS and secure transmission: All data transmitted through this website is encrypted via HTTPS.

Known Limitations

While we have taken substantial steps toward full accessibility, some areas of the site have inherent limitations that we disclose in good faith:

  • AI-generated chat content: The AI-powered chat feature generates responses dynamically. While the chat interface itself includes full screen reader support, the content of AI-generated responses may occasionally contain formatting that is not optimally structured for all assistive technologies.
  • Linked external resources: This website includes links to external pages and services that are not under our control. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of those external destinations.
  • Downloadable files: Downloadable files made available through this site, such as contact information files, may not be fully accessible in all assistive technology environments.

We are actively working to address known limitations on an ongoing basis. This statement is reviewed and updated periodically as improvements are made.

Alternative Access

If you are unable to access any content or functionality on this website due to a disability, we are committed to providing equivalent access through an alternative means. Please contact us directly and we will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or service you need in a format that works for you.

We will respond to all accessibility-related requests within 5 business days.

Legal Framework

This statement is made in good faith pursuant to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III, and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, California Civil Code §51, which prohibit discrimination against individuals with disabilities in places of public accommodation, including websites that serve the public.

We are committed to the principle that all individuals, regardless of ability, have an equal right to access information and services. This commitment is ongoing and reflects our sincere effort to eliminate barriers to access as technology and standards evolve.

Ongoing Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time implementation. We regularly review this website against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria and make improvements as part of our standard development process. This statement is updated to reflect the current state of accessibility on the site.
